Hello Highlight!

Highlighting is an easy way to accentuate various features of the face while adding a luminous glow. Today we pulled our photographer away from the lens for a highlight tutorial to teach you how to replicate this gorgeous glowing look!

  • Use the P86 to glide a liquid highlighter down the bridge of the nose, onto the cupid’s bow, and onto the inner corner of the eyes. Pro tip: You can also add a slight amount directly above the eyebrows to create a natural-looking reflection; this is particularly good for those who get a darker forehead during the summer months.
  • With the E50, apply the shade “Escape” from the Dare Palette onto the browbone to give a lifted effect to the eyes.
  • Lastly, use the F35 to lightly apply the highlighter “Lumiere” from the Paris Makeup Palette along the top of the cheekbone, diffusing it into the blush as you do so.

There you have it - a beautifully highlighted face!

About the model... Rasun has been working at Sigma for one year and two months. In addition to being our photographer, shes' recently taken on the job of videographer as well! (You can check out some of the latest Sigma videos here!)

An average day in the office for Rasun consists of preparing and editing the photographs she's taken for Sigma's campaigns and launches to create the most appealing visuals for supplementing the products.

We asked her what her favorite thing about working at Sigma is and she said, "There is a lot of variety, in terms of projects, which enables a constant flow of creativity. This makes work at Sigma exciting each day!"

When it comes to products, here are her top Sigma picks and why:

  • Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit - "In addition to its aesthetic qualities, this combination of synthetic brushes makes my makeup application smooth."
  • Paris Makeup Palette - "The wide range of wearable colors makes this kit versatile for any occasion."
  • Performance Eyes Kit - "I like the control over intricate makeup looks that these brushes give me."

What are your favorite tips for creating the perfect highlight?
